18 year old Wes Soltau from LeRoy, MN was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma on 1/7/21. Wes and his dad recently returned from a fishing adventure to Devil's Lake, ND where they fished with Big John's guide service.
They caught their limit every day and had a great time.

14 of our Minnesota recipients recently returned from our annual group charter fishing trip to Lake of the Woods at Cyrus resort. Limits of walleyes were caught and everyone had a great time.
Here is 18 year old Carson Gigstad from Savage, MN. We are happy to say that Carson and his family recently returned from a week at White Eagle Resort on beautiful Lake Vermilion. They had 3 days of guided fishing featuring Dave Schueck from Sunset Glow Guide Service and Jason Freed of Leisure Outdoor Adventures.
They had a great time and the fishing was great too. Carson caught 2 walleyes over 25" himself.

11 year old Josiah Schroeder from Caledonia, MN was diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. After 3 1/2 years of chemo, multiple seizures, and a stroke, Josiah needed an outdoor adventure! He and his family recently returned from a houseboat adventure with Lake Vermilion Houseboats and guided fishing with Brock Schueck of Sunset Glow Guide Service and Dave Swenson.

10 year old Nolan Johnson is from Melrose, MN and has been suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy since age 2. We are happy to say that Nolan and his mom recently returned from a Bemidji area fishing adventure. They stayed at Ruttgers Birchmont Lodge on Lake Bemidji and had guided fishing with Dan Reiners of Cedar Swamp Guides!

Some outdoor adventures turn out better than others, and this one was amazing! 12-year-old Brody Samson from Hibbing, MN was diagnosed with Fatty Acid Hydroxylase - Associated Neurodegeneration or FAHN in Sept 2017. Brody just returned from a guided sturgeon adventure on the Rainy River with Trent Eineichner of RainyDaze Guide Service. Oh my gosh! Brody boated 20 sturgeons on the first day alone and 19 more on day 2, including the largest sturgeon Trent has ever had in his boat! This fish was 72" long and had a 33" girth!

On just his first day of the hunt, Hunter Moen from West Concord, MN bagged this beautiful bull elk. Wild Concepts Taxidermy will be doing the mount and Kenyon Meats will be processing the elk.

10 year old Brody Muellerleile has been dealing with Cystic Fibrosis since birth. We are happy to say that Brody and his family recently returned from a great trip to Give Kids the World Village at Disney World.

Our annual group pheasant hunt at Baldhill Creek Adventures in Binford, ND. This hunt is for recipients of the Outdoor Adventure Foundation. It was a very successful hunt with great weather and everyone had a great time.
Colin Jorgenson did 2 tours in Iraq. While serving his country, Colin suffered rocket & mortar attacks resulting in 6 surgeries. Colin just recently returned from a guided elk hunt in Utah. Unfortunately he didn't get that trophy bull elk, but he had a great time on his adventure. Our adventures never end with an unsuccessful hunt, so Colin will be going back on another adventure soon!

Combat wounded veteran Derek Goodridge bagged this white-tailed buck and pronghorn antelope on our veteran's Colorado hunt. Derek lost his right arm serving his country with the U.S. Marine Corp in Afghanistan 2011, but it hasn't stopped him from doing the things he loves. This fabulous Colorado eastern plains hunt was hosted by J & D Outfitters. It's contributions, donations and volunteer efforts that make big outdoor dreams like this one come true!

On January 26, 2007, while conducting a combat patrol in Iraq, Scott Adams was injured by 2 anti-tank mines laced with white phosphorus. He sustained 3rd & 4th-degree burns over 50% of his body and total surface burns over 92% of his body. Scott recently returned from a Colorado hunt with fellow veteran Derek Goodrich. Scott bagged this great whitetail buck and a pronghorn antelope.
