Rice & Fred Kjorlien Canadian Fly-In Fishing Trip

It seems only appropriate that on 9/11 we get to share with everyone an adventure for 2 American heroes. Owen Rice & Fred Kjorlien just got back from a Canadian fly-in fishing trip to the incredible Birch Bark Lodge. While serving in Afghanistan in 2004, Owen suffered a torn brain stem, fractured vertebra, compressed cervical vertebra, crushed sinus, and has a prosthetic knee. While serving in Viet Nam, Fred lost one of his legs and now helps others with prosthetics too. They both had a great time, caught lots of fish, and experienced a fishing adventure of a lifetime. Congrats to Owen & Fred and a big thanks to Mike Pierson at Birch Bark Lodge for helping our foundation make this happen!
